Crystal Palace are once again favourites to sign Belgian international striker Christian Benteke before the deadline of the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.
The Eagles had a bid rejected for the player earlier in the summer as interest from other clubs heated up. West Brom, Everton and most of all West Ham have all been listed as potential destinations for the Liverpool man. Benteke failed to make an impact in the Anfield side after Jurgen Klopp became manager.
The 25-year-old scored 9 goals last season that saw long-term injuries to Danny Ings and Daniel Sturridge. Even with the injuries, the £32.5m signing was still an outcast from the main starting XI and failed to live up to the hefty price tag Liverpool paid.

Palace have been looking for a forward to sign all summer having missed out on several targets including Michy Batshuayi and a recent bid for Saido Berahino has been rejected by West Brom.
Sky Bet has put odds at 4/9 for Benteke to join Selhurst Park and the chasing park is lead by West Ham at 5/1.
