Crystal Palace and Stoke City have been given a boost in their pursuit for Saido Berahino, with West Brom bringing in Diafra Sakho from West Ham.
The Telegraph is now reporting that with Sakho joining the Baggies, Berahino will be available for a move away from the club. Both Palace and Stoke are said to have made £20 million bids for the unhappy forward.
If the 22-year-old moves to Crystal Palace for the mentioned £20 million, it would beat the transfer record set by the club last month when they brought in Andros Townsend for £13 million. The previous record was set last year when Yohan Cabaye was brought into the squad.

At the end of last week, ESPN reported that Crystal Palace had missed out on the striker with the player looking to see out his contract with the Baggies.
Berahino has spent his full career at West Brom, joining the youth team when he was around ten. He has spent time on loan to Northampton Town, Brentford, and Peterborough United.
For the Baggies he has made just shy of 100 Premier League appearances in three seasons, finding the back on the net 23 times.
