Palace look to get rid of Jedinak and Mutch

Crystal Palace are seeking to offload former captain Mile Jedinak and midfielder Jordon Mutch this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The report suggests that neither of the two players are no longer part of Alan Pardew’s plan for the upcoming season, this comes after the departure of Alex McCarthy who joined Southampton yesterday for an undisclosed fee.

It was announced yesterday by manager Alan Pardew that Scott Dann has replaced Mile Jedinak as captain after four seasons of leading the team out at Selhurst Park and around the country.

Jordon Mutch has scored on numerous occasions so far this pre-season campaign with goals both on tour in the USA and back here in the UK against Colchester last month.

The 24-year-old made 25 appearances for the Eagles in all competitions last season with 15 of those coming from the bench. He joined the club from QPR last summer but has failed to make much of an impact.

Simon Jones also includes in this report that Palace are also willing to listen to offers for Wilfried Zaha with a valuation of £25m having been set for the tricky winger.
