Crystal Palace will be waiting on sending out players on loan to Football League clubs until towards the end of the transfer window, according to assistant manager Keith Millen.
The number two at Selhurst Park has told the Croydon Advertiser that the club have received a number of bids, phone calls and interest surrounding the younger players within the squad who could still have a part to play within the next couple of weeks.
A number of first team players are still getting back up to fitness following Euro 2016 which meant that players from the French and Welsh contingent didn’t start training at Beckenham with the first team until the past couple of weeks, leaving them short of the pace.

The youngsters within the squad that include Sullay Kaikai, Luke Dreher, Hiram Boateng and Keshi Anderson have featured heavily during pre-season, in particular Kaikai who has impressed many with some fans calling for him to be included around the first team this season.
Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser, Keith Millen had the following to say about the interest they have been receiving about some players: “There have been a lot of enquiries and managers have been at the last couple of games.
“Mark Bright looks after the U21s and he gets a lot of phone calls from clubs, which is good.
“It’s whether we decide to send them out on loan. I can’t imagine anyone really going out on loan in the next couple of weeks, partly because of the numbers (in the first team).

“If we get some more signings in and get more players fit, then the manager might decide the time is right for some players to go and get some football in the Football League.
“We think they’re good enough for that.”
Changes to the transfer window means that clubs in the Football League won’t be able to utilise emergency loans after the transfer window which could have seen players leave Premier League clubs outside of the main window to gain some first team football.
