Palace defender Luke Croll has joined Exeter City on loan until the middle of January.
The 21-year-old joins the Grecians and has been added straight into the side for the club’s next game against Colchester United on Saturday.
Croll is yet to make a first team appearance for the club despite loan spells at Plymouth Argyle.
Exeter City are currently having an injury crisis with three first-team defenders out for this Saturday’s game.
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale stressed to the club’s website the importance of signing Croll. He said:
“It is a much-needed signing in a problematic area that has arose for us in the last three or four weeks,
“He is a left-sided defender, predominantly a centre-back. We have discussed him, and others, over the past week or two and he fitted the bill in many ways.”
