Palace announce their 25-man squad

Crystal Palace have announced their 25-man squad for the first half of the season, after the closing of the summer transfer window last night.

There are no surprises among the list that was published by the club with all summer signings being included in the squad alongside a number of players on the fringe of the starting XI.

Kwesi Appiah has been included in the 25-man squad, a player who has been used to being loaned out by the club in previous years to teams within the Football League structure.

Steve Mandanda, Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni are the three goalkeepers within the team with it being expected that new signing from Marseille, Mandanda will be the regular goalkeeper, being kept in competition with last season’s main goalkeeper Hennessey.

The Eagles have various options up front with recording signing Christian Benteke being joined by Kwesi Appiah, Fraizer Campbell, Loic Remy and Connor Wickham.

Each club has to submit a squad containing no more than 17 players who do not fulfill the “Home Grown Player” (HGP) criteria. The remainder of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be Home Grown.

The 25-man squad is as following:
