Crystal Palace summer signing Christian Benteke will get his first chance to face his former team on Saturday at Selhurst Park as in-form Liverpool visit in the Premier League.
The 25-year old spent just a single season at the Kop after joining from Aston Villa and faced a losing battle under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool with limited opportunities in the first team, scoring ten goals in 42 appearances.
He arrived in South London for a club record £32m transfer fee and has impressed many Palace fans since his arrival, receiving the player of the month award for September after scoring two goals in three games that month.

“I look forward to every game,” Benteke is quoted by the Evening Standard as saying. “Not just because it is against Liverpool. But, of course, I am going to be happy because I will play against my old team-mates.”
Liverpool are in title chasing form so far this season and are looking for a sixth win in seven league games, sitting in second, level on points with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top of the table.
