Sam Allardyce has made his first changes as Crystal Palace manager as the club have announced the departure of Keith Millen and Andy Woodman.
In a short statement on Monday, the club said that the pair would be leaving with immediate affect – Keith Millen as assistant manager after four years at the club and Andy Woodman as goalkeeping coach, a role which he took when Alan Pardew arrived at the club.
Croydon-born Keith Millen leaves as a popular figure at the club after helping the team in its hour of need, during managerial transitions and helping whoever is in-charge of the club through successful periods with the promotion season, Palace becoming an established Premier League team and last season’s FA Cup run being the most memorable.

In the statement released by the club, Chairman Steve Parish thanked the pair for their time and commitment at the club: “Myself and everyone at the club would like to place on record our thanks for the hard work and commitment shown by Keith and Andy during their time at Crystal Palace.
“Keith has been a huge support to the club over the past four years and along with the successful times he has been instrumental in helping us through some difficult periods along the way, for which we thank him. As a former player Andy has a long history with the club and we thank him for his contribution during his time as goalkeeping coach. We wish them both all the best for the future”.
