Everton striker Arouna Kone is set to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end-of-the-season according to Sky Sources.
The 33-year-old had been told that he was free to leave the club in the January transfer window, a window in which Everton have been having a clear-out of any players who weren’t featuring regularly.
Kone wanted to remain in the Premier League, with Koeman yesterday confirming in a press conference that Everton had received numerous offers for his services. Swansea, Sunderland and QPR have all been interested.

The Ivory Coast international has made six appearances for Everton this season, with both of his goals being scored against Yeovil Town in the second round of the League Cup.
His lack of appearances come after a full season of fixtures in the last campaign, making 31 appearances and scoring seven goals for the Toffee’s.
Kone should be available to face Sunderland on Saturday as Palace look to fight their way out of the relegation zone with a new team which would have been formed by the end of the transfer window at 11pm.
