Former manager Pulis show interest in Martin Kelly

Tony Pulis’ West Brom are interested in signing Palace defender Martin Kelly, who has made regular appearances this season due to injury in areas of the squad.

According the Tamworth Herald, Kelly has been identified as a target for the club with the former Palace manager looking to strengthen his team to continue their early season form into the second half of the campaign.

The 26-year-old joined the Eagles in 2014 after being signed by Tony Pulis for £2million from Liverpool where injuries were part of his early career with two ACL injuries in the space of three-and-a-half years.

Kelly has made 23 appearances for Crystal Palace this season, featuring at both left and right back, with a number of those appearances coming following the serious injury sustained to Pape Souare in a car crash, of which he is recovering from.

His performances have come into criticism from areas of supporters this season after becoming quite error prone, leading to goals being conceded on a week-by-week basis due to a mistake which was made by the defender.
