Crystal Palace came into the 2016/17 looking to consolidate themselves as a mid-table Premier League club, but so far the season has been a bit of a nightmare.
The club spent big in the summer bringing in Christian Benteke, James Tomkins and Andros Townsend to Selhurst Park but Crystal Palace’s form deteriorated and Alan Pardew was sacked.
Sam Allardyce was brought in and another £30m was spent in January but Palace’s league form is yet to improve.
