Palace ready to offer Zaha a new deal

Crystal Palace are reportedly looking to make a big statement of intent by tying down Wilfried Zaha to a long-term contract.

According to a report from the Guardian today, the Ivory Coast international is wanted by all of Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City but Palace are keen to ensure that he is playing in the red and blue next season by offering him a new contract on improved terms.

It’s reported that the Eagles are ready to break the bank to keep hold of the former England Under-21 international by offering him a huge £110,000 per week contract.

The 24-year-old recently showed his quality in his side’s 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge against league leaders Chelsea, scoring the visitors’ opening goal and setting up the second for Christian Benteke.

Interest in Zaha is sure to be strong when the summer transfer window rolls around, but it’s clear that Sam Allardyce and the Palace board want to keep their prized asset.
