Crystal Palace have been casting a keen eye over several players across the course of the season, and their scouts were reportedly in attendance for Chievo Verona’s clash with Atalanta on Saturday afternoon.
According to a report from Italian news outlet TMW, as per a report from the Croydon Advertiser, the Eagles were keeping tabs on Chievo striker Roberto Inglese.
Palace have lacked firepower over the past season, when looking across the 38 games, with a seeming over-reliance on Christian Benteke to provide the goals being one of many aspects that hindered them.

However, it seems as though the Eagles will be looking to recruit more attacking reinforcements this summer and with them exploring Inglese’s talents, he could very well be a man under consideration for the club.
Palace are without a manager at the moment so preparing to sign players could prove to be difficult, but Inglese has impressed in Serie A this season, notching an impressive tally of 12 goals.
