Crystal Palace have held talks with former Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini about the vacant manager’s job at Selhurst Park, according to Sky Sports.
Former Manchester City manager Pellegrini was appointed head coach at Hebei China Fortune last August but has always been keen on a return to the Premier League.
Chairman Steve Parish has endured a frustrating month as he looks to fill the managerial hot seat at Selhurst Park, with Burnley boss Sean Dyche also rumoured to be on his radar.
Parish was reportedly interested in Marco Silva and Claudio Ranieri too, however, both now have other jobs as they agreed to takeover at Watford and Nantes respectively.
Palace are looking to replace Sam Allardyce after he resigned at the end of the season.
Pellegrini won the double in his first season in English football, winning the Premier League and the League Cup with Manchester City during the 2013/14 campaign.
