Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on signing Venezuelan Under-20 international Jan Hurtado this summer.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Eagles are seeking striking reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window and are looking to add a new attacker to their ranks.
This has seemingly led them to Hurtado, who impressed in the Under-20 World Cup as his native Venezuela side reached the final, only to be beaten by England.
The youngster is currently plying his trade in his homeland with Deportivo Tachira, and netted on seven occasions in his breakthrough season last term.
Palace became increasingly dependent on Christian Benteke to provide them with goals last season and it should come as no surprise to see them linked with a variety of strikers this summer.
However, if they are to land the promising 17-year-old forward, they may need to fend off competition from Eintracht Frankfurt, who are also cited with interest.
