New Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer is eyeing up a reunion with Ajax right back Kenny Tete, according to reports in HITC.
Tete, 21, is one of de Boer’s main targets this summer and a deal looks extremely likely with the Dutch side recently accepting a £2.7 million bid from Galatasaray, only for the player to snub the Turkish side.
With de Boer desperate to land a right back this summer, he could face a battle to land his former player, with Spanish, Italian and French sides all enquiring about Tete’s situation, who only has 12 months left on his current contract with Ajax.
Palace boss de Boer gave Tete his first team debut during his time with Ajax and the young defender has gone on to impress in the Netherlands. He has been involved in 55 games for Ajax and has also been capped six times by the Netherlands.
