On Monday, Crystal Palace announced that they had ‘parted company’ with Frank de Boer after the dismal start to the season which saw no wins from the club’s first four league matches.
Rumours then circulated about his replacement and on Tuesday evening, it was announced that Roy Hodgson was signing a two-year contract at the club.
