Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha says that he hopes to be fit for the club’s clash with Chelsea next month.
Palace play Chelsea at Selhurst Park on October 14th and Zaha is hopeful that he will be able to return to the squad for that game.
Zaha has missed the last four games of Palace’s Premier League season and is expected to also miss the next two.
Speaking to TalkSport, Zaha said this:
It’s going well, I’m getting stronger. Hopefully I’ll be back soon. I’m trying to be back soon for the Chelsea game.

It’s hard to watch as obviously I want to help the team going through this hard patch. That’s why I’m working so hard at the gym to help the team as soon as possible.
Palace are currently bottom of the Premier League table and are yet to score a goal in the league this season.
They face Manchester City and Manchester United in their next two games, the two sides currently joint-top of the league.
Palace host Chelsea after the international break, with the club having a two-week break after the game against United.
Zaha has been out since injuring his knee in the club’s loss to Huddersfield on the opening day of the season.
