The January transfer window will certainly be a case of undoing Frank de Boer’s mistakes over the summer. The club has been left short of strikers and they only currently have one consistent goalkeeper, with Wayne Hennessey making mistakes far too often.
Crystal Palace are also in need of strikers as they only have one recognised striker in Christian Benteke. There are several options for competition such as Theo Walcott and Danny Ings, but both are risky, as both are quite injury prone and don’t currently have a lot of match fitness.
Club captain Jason Puncheon and former club captain Scott Dann are both out for the rest of the season after sustaining recent injuries, and so both midfield and defensive reinforcements could be useful.
Thankfully, it is likely that Wilfried Zaha won’t be on his way out of Selhurst Park, with all offers being rejected so far.
Here are five players that I think Palace should look to sign in order to climb up the table and push themselves away from the relegation zone.
