In this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast, I review the game against Chelsea by giving you my match review, player rankings as well as my Man of the Match.
Palace’s luck was certainly in short supply in their latest London derby. In a game of two halves, Willian opened the scoring before an own goal by Martin Kelly put the hosts 2-0 ahead before halftime. The second half was much improved, but Palace controversially had an Alexander Sørloth goal disallowed before Patrick van Aanholt netted against his former club in the 89th minute.
Should Alexander Sørloth’s goal have stood? Based on recent performances, does Aaron Wan-Bissaka deserve to keep his place? Which system suits the team better; the 4-4-2 or the 4-5-1? What is it with games of two halves?
All this and more in this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast.
