Jeffery Schlupp praises Palace medical staff after injury return

Crystal Palace left back Jeffery Schlupp has made a miraculous recovery from injury according to Goal.com. An injury which, promised to see him off the pitch for at least 2 months. But (as Schlupp has credited) the palace medical teams incredible efforts have enabled the German Born Schlupp to return to the side ahead of schedule.

The Ghana international returned to face his former team Leicester city in which, they dismantled Schlupp’s former side, putting 5 past the foxes. A game in which Schlupp was substituted late on to mark his incredible return from injury, in time for the end of the season.

Schlupp recovered from a potentially season-ending injury, sustained against in a league fixture against Huddersfield Town in March. A game that Palace would go onto win with a 2-0 victory over the Terriers.

In an interview reported by Londonnewsonline. Schlupp tells all about his injury progress, the incredible job done by the medical team and his personal ambitions going forward:

When I first got injured, there were fears that my season was done but all the staff and the medical team worked hard with me and I managed to come back earlier than expected.

I’ve had a bit of time with them before when I injured my knee and I put all my trust in them.

They know how my body works and they’ve managed to do a great job and get me back for the last few games – all credit to them.

playing the last seven minutes of Saturday’s big win, Schlupp is hoping to be a regular feature of Roy Hodgson’s set-up as the season draws to a close. Said Schlupp.

The 25-year-old has made 23 Premier League appearances since joining the outfit last year, involving 21 starts, so far this season.
