Crystal Palace linked with Lukasz Fabianski

Crystal Palace have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City this summer.

The Polish international is looking to leave the Liberty Stadium following the club’s relegation down to the Championship and according to the Guardian, Palace are keen.

Fabianski has been a consistent performer for Swansea over the course of several seasons and it seems he is determined to remain in the top-flight of English football.

Palace’s goalkeeping frailties have been well-documented for some time now, but there is already a pre-contract agreement signed over the transfer of Vicente Guaita, whose contract at Getafe expires next month.

However, it seems the Eagles are exploring other alternatives ahead of the summer transfer window, with Fabianski the latest shot-stopper to be named as a potential signing.

The Eagles are likely to be rivalled by a number of Premier League clubs, including Watford, in their bid to sign the former Arsenal man. The prospect of first-team football at Selhurst Park, though, could be an attractive proposition.
