Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson is already moving in the transfer market and has made a run at Michail Antonio, reports the Guardian.
The versatile player was named West Ham’s player of the season in 2016-17, and has looked dangerous when he could find the field.
The Irons value the 28-year-old highly, and any transfer would cost Palace dearly as he is contracted with them until 2021.
Palace are set for a summer of spending with a number of players out of contract, in addition to Ruben Loftus-Cheek returning to Chelsea after a great season.

Signing the Englishman would probably replace Loftus-Cheek, with Antonio’s natural position was on the wing – the same place the youngster was deployed at Selhurst Park.
Antonio hasn’t featured for the Hammers since suffering a season-ending hamstring injury in the 3-0 victory over Southampton in March. He was visibly upset, leaving the pitch in tears.
It remains to be seen if West Ham’s new manager sees Antonio in their plans, but with 20 goals in 76 appearances for them, Palace will happily take him off their hands.
