Crystal Palace will learn whether or not Yohan Cabaye is signing a new contract at the club in the coming week, according to the Mirror.
The Frenchman sees his existing deal at Selhurst Park reach its expiry date this summer but it’s understood that the Eagles do want to retain his services ahead of next season.
Marseille have been heavily linked with a swoop for the former Newcastle man, with an enquiry already made by the Ligue 1 giants.

Cabaye’s future in South London is currently uncertain but according to the Mirror, he will face a significant pay cut if he does indeed renew his contract at Palace.
It’s claimed that Cabaye’s wages would be reduced to £45,000 per week on a two-year deal if he opts against seeking pastures new this summer.
Cabaye was an important player for Roy Hodgson throughout last season but it seems the Palace boss’ patience is wearing thin, with an answer from the experienced midfielder expected in the coming days.
