Crystal Palace want to sign promising Toulouse goalkeeper Alban Lafont this summer, according to L’Equipe.
The young French shot-stopper enjoyed yet another impressive season between the sticks at Toulouse and has caught the eye of those at Palace, it seems.
Lafont has been tipped for big things in the future and has continued to impress in France, establishing himself as one of the country’s most exciting young prospects.
Palace are likely to sign Vicente Guaita on a free transfer from Getafe this summer, with a pre-contract agreement in place, but it appears as though other goalkeeping options are also being explored.
L’Equipe indicate that it’s set to be a summer of change at Toulouse, with a number of their key players likely to leave the club for pastures new.
Lafont is named as a player who Palace have intently scouted in recent times, whilst young centre-back and captain Issa Diop has also been linked with a move from Toulouse to Selhurst Park.
