Palace loanee to sort future after World Cup

Crystal Palace midfield loanee Ruben Loftus-Cheek has confirmed that he will hold off his future until after the World Cup, according to the Daily Mail.

The midfielder spent last season out on loan at Crystal Palace and when fit had a fine season at Selhurst Park which earned him a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.

There would not be a shortage of teams keen on signing the player and his future is likely to depend on whether Antonio Conte remains at the club.

It is widely thought that Conte will leave in which case, Loftus-Cheek will try and resolve his future at the Stamford Bridge having been given limited opportunities to impress.

He is set to travel to Russia with the rest of the England squad this summer as they prepare for their World Cup campaign where they will face Tunisia, Panama and Belgium.

A big World Cup for the 22-year-old could give him a real chance of breaking through at the West London club.
