Palace plan new contract for Spurs target Zaha
Crystal Palace are hoping Wilfried Zaha will sign a new big-money contract to ward off interest from Tottenham.
The Mirror reports that Palace have offered the player a huge £120,000-a-week deal to stay at Selhurst Park this summer.
The new deal would see him earn more at Palace than he would get should Spurs come in for him.
Several Premier League sides, including Chelsea and Arsenal, have enquired about the player but Spurs have been credited with the most serious interest in his services.
Mauricio Pochettino has been a long-term admirer of the Zaha and interest is expected to rise throughout the summer.
Zaha only signed a new deal last summer but following his performances during the second half of last season, the Eagles want to tie down with an improved deal.
The Ivorian played a key role in Palace’s survival, inspiring the team under Roy Hodgson with five goals in their last six games.
