Wilfried Zaha is determined to leave Crystal Palace this summer and has identified Chelsea as his preferred destination, according to MirrorSport.

The Ivory Coast international has also reportedly told his Palace teammates of his plans, and would be willing to submit a transfer request should the club continue to price him out of a move.

Palace had attempted to tie their prized asset to a new long-term contract on improved terms, but Zaha has rejected it in favour of moving away from Selhurst Park, snubbing Everton in the process.

Palace’s offer was believed to be around £120,000-a-week, an upgrade on the £100,000-a-week contract the 25-year old forward signed just 15 months ago.

This is despite a report from The Independent, who yesterday claimed that Zaha would not leave the club during this window.

Tottenham were interested in signing Zaha this window, but have decided to pursue Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish instead.
