Crystal Palace could look to revive their pursuit of Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew in the near future, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Eagles had identified Ayew as a target this summer but were believed to have seen their move for the player fall through after a part-exchange deal with Swansea collapsed.
Palace intended to recruit Ayew from Championship outfit Swansea while sending Jairo Riedewald in the other direction to the Liberty Stadium as part of the deal.

Riedewald, however, was not especially keen on the prospect of playing in the Championship next term and declined the offer of a move away from South London.
Ayew is keen to seal a switch to Palace and it seems he will not back down without a fight. According to Swansea boss Graham Potter, the attacker has failed to report for pre-season training in recent times, with a reason not specified.
There’s no further news on Jordan – he’s just not been here. That tells you that he’s not part of what we’re trying to do, by his own actions. It’s whether we can get a good enough deal for the club. Otherwise, that’s going to be an interesting time for him.
Palace remain keen to add a striker to the ranks before the window slams shut on Thursday, and it seems their interest in Ayew is not yet over.
