Crystal Palace are believed to be among the Premier League clubs who have expressed an interest in signing Stefano Sturaro from Juventus this summer.
According to claims from Italy, the Eagles join a host of top-flight outfits in the race to sign Sturaro, who appears to be all but set to depart Juventus after several transfer windows’ worth of speculation.
Sturaro is down the pecking order of midfielders at the Allianz Stadium and Juve appear to now be keen to cash in, with a reported price tag of £18m having been put on the Italian’s head.
Palace have already added to their midfield options through the signings of Cheikhou Kouyate from West Ham and Max Meyer on a free transfer. However, Italian reports indicate that they are also in the race for Sturaro.
However, as aforementioned, the Eagles will face stiff competition if they are to pursue Sturaro. Newcastle, West Ham, Leicester and Wolves have all been linked with the player.
