Crystal Palace have made contact with Milan regarding Carlos Bacca, according to reports in Italian media relayed by Sport Witness.
The Eagles are however set to face competition from London rivals West Ham.
The Colombian forward was linked with a move to the Hammers during the 2016 summer transfer window, and the lengthy saga concluded with Bacca staying in Italy.
Despite a series of summer acquisitions amongst the attacking ranks – including a deadline day announcement of Lucas Perez from Arsenal – it seems that Manuel Pellegrini’s team might not yet be done with their dealings in the transfer market.
Palace can boast such attacking options as Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Alexander Sorloth, and the currently injured Connor Wickham.
Spending the 2017-18 season at Villarreal, Bacca enjoyed a fruitful spell in La Liga. Making 44 appearances, the striker scored 18 goals in all competitions.
A part Colombia’s World Cup squad, Bacca saw his penalty saved by Jordan Pickford during his side’s exit on spot kicks to England.
