Ruben Loftus-Cheek is finding life difficult at Chelsea.
The midfielder enjoyed a fantastic spell on loan at Crystal Palace last season, delivering a series of performances worthy of landing him a spot in England’s World Cup squad.
Not just there for the experience, Loftus-Cheek appeared in each of his country’s group stage matches.

However, opportunities for his club have been limited under Maurizio Sarri. With just 33 minutes of Premier League football under his belt, the 22-year-old is finding it difficult to force his way into a midfield consisting of Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante, Cesc Fabregas, and Ross Barkley.
Having lost his spot in the England squad to Barkley, a loan chance now seems inevitable for Loftus-Cheek.
According to a report from ESPN, that opportunity should come in January – though Chelsea remain firm in their stance that the Lewisham-native will not be sold.
Manager Maurizio Sarri has publicly said that Loftus-Cheek needs to improve tactically, and with a host of Premier League clubs supposedly keen to take the box-to-box threat on, one of Chelsea’s brightest prospects could be heading away from Stamford Bridge.
Palace may be the prime candidate to take Loftus-Cheek again, given the development seen under Roy Hodgson last year. Eagles fans are sure to be watching this one with a close eye!
