Crystal Palace are eyeing a potential loan move for Roma forward Patrik Schick, according to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato.
Schick could become Roma’s record signing depending upon various add-ons but at the moment, he’s finding game time hard to come by.
Eusebio Di Francesco has not shown any desire to give Schick regular first-team action and with Eden Dzeko in such good form, his chances of playing more often seem to be remote at best.
Therefore, a loan for the 22-year-old would make sense and it looks like Crystal Palace are keen to take him on a temporary basis.
Palace’s forwards simply aren’t scoring enough goals and Roy Hodgson knows that he must address that issue, and bringing Schick in on loan is one potential option.
However, Bologna, Parma, Real Valladolid and Udinese are all interested in the Czech international and as such, Palace could find it difficult to sign him in January.
