Fan arrested for throwing pie at Zaha

A Brighton and Hove and Albion fan has been arrested following the club’s clash against Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening after he threw a pie at Wilfried Zaha, the Daily Mail reports.

10 arrests in total were made on the night as fans clashed at Brighton station, Falmer Station, the city centre of Brighton and at the Amex Stadium itself.

One 21-year-old Brighton fan from Shoreham was arrested at the stadium for throwing a pie onto the pitch towards Zaha.

Despite playing the majority of the match against 10-men, Zaha’s Crystal Palace side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Brighton in what was deemed by Palace’s James McArthur as an “unacceptable” display.
