Palace eyeing loan move for Oumar Niasse

Crystal Palace are interested in making a loan move for Everton striker Oumar Niasse, according to the Standard.

With Roy Hodgson looking to add firepower to his attacking ranks, he could turn to Niasse who is seeking regular playing time after falling out of favour under Marco Silva.

The 28-year-old has played just 58 minutes of Premier League football so far this season, making five appearances off the bench. His only start for Everton this season came in the League Cup against Rotherham.

Palace have had problems up front as of late, with an injury to Christian Benteke leaving them short of options.

With the Belgian close to returning, another addition to the front line would be ideal as Palace in desperate need of more goals.

The Eagles have had 267 shots this campaign, but have only scored 19 times.

However, with Hodgson conceding that he has limited funds available, any new addition would have to be temporary.
