Jermaine Defoe has revealed that he rejected the chance to sign for Crystal Palace before deciding to move to Rangers on loan from Bournemouth.
As reported on ThisIsFutbol, the forward was heavily out of favour with Premier League side Bournemouth and secured an 18-month loan move to Scottish Premiership side Rangers.

The 36-year-old striker decided that he wanted a new challenge and will now play under his former England team-mate Steven Gerrard.
Palace boss Roy Hodgson is desperate to sign a prolific striker this month to help his side avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The Eagles have also lost striker Alexander Sorloth, who completed a loan move to KAA Gent earlier in the week.
Hodgson is still keeping an eye on a few targets and will be confident of landing at least one new forward before the transfer window closes.
