Palace fell to only their second defeat in their last seven matches. After a scramble and some penalty box pinball, Roy Hodgson’s men took the lead after the ball ricocheted in off Craig Cathcart. Unfortunately, they couldn’t hold onto the lead with Cathcart netting from a corner – at the right end that time – with Tom Cleverley scoring after a fine volley to complete the comeback.
Should Wayne Hennessey have done better with the goals? Why can we create chances but not finish them off? How good was it to see Christian Benteke return? Who do Palace need to sign in the transfer window?
