Crystal Palace player ratings: Liverpool (A)

A Julian Speroni howler cost Crystal Palace dearly in a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

The Argentine goalkeeper made a huge mistake after Palace had levelled the score at 2-2 to hand Liverpool a third goal.

Andros Townsend gave Palace a first half lead, before Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino scored two early second half goals to put the Reds in front.

James Tomkins would level for Palace, before Salah would take advantage of Speroni’s mistake to make it 3-2.

Sadio Mane would add a fourth, before Max Meyer got a goal back for Palace in injury time.

Here’s how we rated the Eagles.
