Cenk Tosun has reportedly rejected a loan approach from Crystal Palace this month, despite earlier reports suggesting he was ‘seriously considering’ accepting the offer.
The Turkey international striker, who plays for Everton, has struggled to find consistent game time this season, with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin preferred as sole striker’s on Merseyside.
Crystal Palace, who are in the market for a forward this month, had reportedly offered to take Tosun on a short-term deal, which would have been beneficial for all parties on paper.

However, according to Turkish journalist Gökmen Özcan, Tosun has rejected the advances of 11 clubs this month, with the 27-year old determined to break through into Everton’s first-team.
Crystal Palace join a host of top teams from across the continent in receiving a no from the former Besiktas man, including; Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Valencia, Schalke, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Besiktas themselves.
