Palace went through into the FA Cup fifth round. Goals from Connor Wickham and Andros Townsend settled the tie, with Kieran Trippier missing a spot-kick for Spurs just before half time.
Despite increased pressure from the North London side in the second half, Roy Hodgson’s team remained solid, allowing them to assuredly see out the rest of the game against a toothless Tottenham and move a step closer to Wembley.
