Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been a revelation in the Premier League this season, with many backing him for a call-up to the senior England squad.
However, with all this praise comes speculation over his future – with the likes of Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested in signing him at the end of the season.
If he were to leave, who would Palace replace him with? Here are five potential targets…
Jayden Bogle
The teenage right-back has forced his way into Derby’s starting line up this season and impressed in the Championship. With Derby currently sitting in 7th, Palace could snap him up if they fail to achieve promotion.
Ruben Aguilar
The Montpellier right-back is already being linked with a move to Crystal Palace, by Calcio Mercato, so is an obvious replacement for Wan-Bissaka.
Joakim Maehle
The Belgian right-back has impressed for Genk this season and could, perhaps, be a cheaper option to others on this list.
Max Aarons
Potentially the most expensive target on this list, Norwich reportedly value Aarons at £15m – with Arsenal and Tottenham interested. Norwich are currently 2nd in the Championship, but if they fall away and fail to gain promotion Palace could make their move.
Kenny Lala
The French fullback, Lala, has four goals and eight assists in Ligue 1 this season for Strasbourg and could be an ideal replacement for Wan-Bissaka.
