Crystal Palace battled hard but fell to defeat as they lost 3-1 to Manchester City on Sunday.
A double from Raheem Sterling appeared to put City in cruise control, but a free-kick from Luka Milivojevic brought Palace back into the game with ten minutes to go.
However, City killed the game off in the 90th minute as Gabriel Jesus made space for himself in the box before finding the bottom corner to make it 3-1.
Here is how we rated Palace’s players…
Vincente Guaita: 7
Made a great save in the first-half and claimed the ball well.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka: 8
Wan-Bissaka was excellent, yet again, at right-back and made a number of key tackles.
Martin Kelly: 7
Decent display from Kelly, all things considered.
Scott Dann: 6
Gave Sterling too much space for the opening goal, should have pressured him.
Patrick Van Aanholt: 5
Let Sterling go in the first-half which led to the goal. Not his best performance for Palace…
Luka Milivojevic: 8
Battled hard in midfield and scored an excellent free-kick to pull a goal back.
James McArthur: 6
Worked hard in midfield, but offered little else.
Jeff Schlupp: N/A
Off injured early on.
Andros Townsend: 5
Failed to create anything. Lacked quality throughout.
Christian Benteke: 6
Held the ball up well at times, but struggled against a dominant City side.
Wilfried Zaha: 6
Was always a threat, but couldn’t stamp his mark on the game in the end.
