Crystal Palace are amongst the clubs interested in bringing Osijek FC goalkeeper Marko Malencia to the Premier League, according to the Daily Star, as cited on London Football News.
Malencia, 25, has kept nine clean sheets in the 29 games for the Croatian side this season who currently occupy third place in their respected league.
The shot-stopper has been capped by Croatia in their U17s, 18s and 19s teams, but is yet to break into the senior side.
According to transfermarkt, Malencia is currently valued at around £1 million in today’s market, making him a desirable target.
Palace currently have Welsh international Wayne Hennessey and Spanish goalkeeper Vicente Guaita battling for the number one shirt at the club.
Most recently, Guaita was selected in their 3-1 defeat against Manchester City at the weekend with Hennessey on the bench.
Palace will have to battle Tottenham, as well as others, for his signature in the summer as Malencia will be healthy competition for the number one jersey.
Watford and Bournemouth are also thought to be interested in a deal.
