Crystal Palace are well on course to secure Premier League football for another season under Roy Hodgson.
Despite their 3-1 defeat to Manchester City last weekend, Palace are in a healthy position heading into the final few games of the campaign.
They will now have one eye on the summer transfer window, with the left-back position one area in which they may look to strengthen.
Here are five left-backs Palace could sign to compete with Patrick Van Aanholt…
Lloyd Kelly
Capable of playing at left-back of centre-back, the young defender would be a smart signing for Palace.
Marvin Plattenhardt
The Hertha Berlin defender is a German international and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League this summer.
Enda Stevens
If Sheffield United fail to secure promotion to the Premier League, Palace should look to snap up Stevens after his impressive performances in the Championship this term.
Joe Bryan
Bryan has had a difficult season with Fulham, but has shown glimpses of what he could do in a decent side. Palace could look to give him a second chance in the Premier League.
Oleksandr Zinchenko
If Manchester City decide to sign a new left-back in the summer, this could open the door for Palace to strike a deal for the talented young defender.
