Crystal Palace face a testing trip to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday as they prepare to face Arsenal in the Premier League.
The hosts will be in confident mood after a strong pair of showings in the past week. They defeated Watford 1-0 away from home in the top flight before advancing to the Europa League semi-finals with a 3-0 aggregate win over Napoli.
Roy Hodgson’s side, meanwhile, head into the game on the back of a defeat last weekend. The Eagles were put to the sword by Manchester City as Pep Guardiola’s men came away with a 3-1 win.
Palace are, without doubt, the underdogs as they prepare for a trip to North London, but they will be keen to take advantage of Arsenal’s likely tired legs following their exploits in Italy just days prior to the match at the Emirates.
Take a look at how we predict the Eagles to line up against the Gunners on Sunday.
Vicente Guaita
Guaita is Palace’s undisputed number one and is set to retain his position in between the sticks.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka
Wan-Bissaka has been excellent for Palace this season and will hope to stand out once again against Arsenal.
Scott Dann
Dann is poised to continue in central defence with James Tomkins still sidelined.
Martin Kelly
Alongside Dann, it is likely that Kelly will start, as Mamadou Sakho is nursing an injury.
Patrick van Aanholt
Van Aanholt will need to up his game defensively if he is to keep Arsenal’s wide attacking options at bay.
Luka Milivojevic
Milivojevic will captain the team and anchor the trio of midfielders.
James McArthur
McArthur is poised to operate as a box-to-box midfielder against Arsenal and certainly has his work cut out.
Cheikhou Kouyate
Jeffrey Schlupp is out for the rest of the season, and it is likely that Kouyate will be favoured instead of Max Meyer.
Andros Townsend
Townsend is looking set to operate on the wing upon his return to North London. The ex-Tottenham Hotspur man will be determined to make an impact.
Wilfried Zaha
Zaha will be desperate to get back to his best and could be the difference-maker here for Palace.
Christian Benteke
Benteke must show more quality in front of goal but remains important in Palace’s attacking phases given his ability to bring others into the game.
