Crystal Palace are one of many other Premier League clubs who want to sign Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, with the player is looking to progress his footballing career.

According to the Telegraph, Stoke have put a £30m price tag on the keeper, amid interest from several teams in the Premier League, including Bournemouth.

The keeper is in high demand, after an impressive 17 clean sheets with the Potters this season.

However, with Stoke failing to qualify for the play-offs and with that, missing out on a return to the Premier League, Butland will be looking to further his career elsewhere.

The Englishman has registered nine caps for his country already, however it was Gareth Southgate who admitted in order for Butland to remain in the England team, he needs to be playing in one of Europe’s major leagues.

Should the Eagles manage to complete Butland’s move to Selhurst Park, he would make a fine addition to a squad that is already blossoming with young homegrown talent and would link up nicely with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, another contender for England’s future starting XI.

Butland still has two years remaining on his contract at Stoke, but with the team staying in the Championship it will be hard for them to keep hold of him.
