Palace face competition for Galatasaray goalkeeper Muslera

Crystal Palace will reportedly rival Bournemouth for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

Both Premier League outfits are keen to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, and we covered a report earlier today that claimed both clubs were interested in signing Stoke City shot-stopper Jack Butland.

Now Turkish outlet Aksam claim that both clubs will look to sign Muslera, who would cost €4million.

Roy Hodgson is believed to be in the market for a new ‘keeper this summer, with Wayne Hennessey having fallen out of favour, losing his starting spot to Vicente Guaita.

Bournemouth are also looking for a new man to tend the sticks, with Asmir Begovic having struggled to maintain his starting spot this season.

Muslera has played 39 times this season for Gala, featuring over 300 times for the Super Lig club since signing from Lazio in 2011.
