Crystal Palace have joined the race to sign Cardiff winger Josh Murphy as the Eagles look to add more attacking threat to their team, with Burnley the other club linked with the Englishman.
Murphy joined the Bluebirds last summer from Norwich in a deal worth £11 million but should the Welsh side get relegated then the youngster might consider a move away from the Cardiff City Stadium.

According to Football Insider, as cited on Wales Online, both Palace and Burnley have made the winger a potential target and are set to make an offer if Cardiff go down.
Murphy would be a good signing for the Eagles with Zaha potentially leaving, bringing in a the 24-year-old would give Roy Hodgson more attacking options.
The forward has made 27 appearances this season, scoring three goals and accumulating one assist in that time.

However, the Bluebirds boss Steven Warnock hasn’t been too happy with his play and explains why the winger was absent from their important game against Fulham last weekend.
According to the Wales Online, Warnock claims that Murphy was not selected for the squad because of his lack of ambition and performances in training.
In his post-match interview, as cited on Wales Online, he said:
He’s been poor in training. No excuse. I could have said he had something creaking in his back or something, couldn’t I? But he’s been poor in training. I hope it gives him a kick up the backside and he’s better in training next week.
Crystal Palace face Cardiff this weekend in a must-win game for the Bluebirds, as for Palace they have nothing riding on the game as they look forward to next season.
