Tottenham’s interest in Wilfried Zaha has apparently ended, according to reports from the Evening Standard.
Crystal Palace have quoted a price of £100 million for the 26-year old winger. Spurs also enquired last year but were put off by the asking price and this appears to be the case again.
Rumours have been circulating that Zaha wishes to play for a Champions League club, which has now put the top four on red alert.
If Tottenham have been put off by the asking price, they’ll surely be more interest from others, maybe even abroad.
In other news, Connor Wickham has signed a new contract which will keep him tied to the club until 2021.
This was confirmed on the club website after the injury-prone striker has struggled with injuries in recent seasons but now appears to be back on the road to recovery. He has been available for selection in the last few months or so.
