Aarons eyed as possible Wan-Bissaka replacement

There has been much speculation over the future of Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who burst onto the scene last season at Selhurst Park.

The full-back featured 35 times for Palace and his solid performances has led to interest from Manchester United who are extremely keen for his services.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is thought to be a huge fan of the 21-year-old as he looks to have a fresh-faced side next season.

According to reports, if Wan-Bissaka does leave Selhurst Park, highly-rated Norwich City full-back Max Aarons will be Roy Hodgson’s number one target, according to Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

Solhekol also claims that Manchester United, Tottenham and RB Leipzig are all interested in the 19-year-old.

Aarons would very much be a like for like replacement if Wan-Bissaka is to depart, a very pacey and tricky full back who likes to get forward as well as defend.

Aarons featured 41 times for the Canaries last season, scoring two goals, as he played a key part in Daniel Farke’s sides title-winning season, and it appears as if the Eagles will plot an ambitious move for the teenager if Wan-Bissaka departs.
